Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques and a passion for helping clients achieve relaxation and relief from stress. As a Massage Therapist, you will play a crucial role in promoting overall health and well-being through therapeutic touch.

Duties

Provide professional massage therapy services tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage techniques. Conduct thorough client assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on medical history and personal preferences. Maintain accurate records of client sessions, including treatment notes and progress updates. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients before, during, and after their sessions. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments or self-care practices as needed. Collaborate with other wellness professionals to enhance the overall client experience.

Skills

Proficiency in medical terminology to communicate effectively with clients and healthcare professionals. Must be a Registered Massage Therapist with one of the Massage Therapist Associations in Alberta Strong customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for all clients. Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and understand their needs effectively. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate client schedules. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to massage therapy practices. Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 32 per week
