We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. Duties

Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage. Assess clients' physical condition and discuss their health history to create personalized treatment plans. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients before, during, and after sessions. Utilize medical terminology effectively when discussing client conditions with other healthcare professionals. Communicate clearly with clients regarding the benefits of different massage techniques and any contraindications. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a professional manner. Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

Valid state license or certification in massage therapy is required. Proficiency in medical terminology is preferred to enhance communication with clients and healthcare providers. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Previous experience in a customer service role is highly desirable. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on industry trends and techniques.
