We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various massage techniques and the ability to provide exceptional customer service. This role involves working closely with clients to assess their needs and deliver tailored massage treatments that promote relaxation, healing, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their specific needs and health concerns. Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and therapeutic massages. Maintain accurate client records, including treatment plans and progress notes, while adhering to confidentiality standards. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients before, during, and after treatments. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy practices. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and ensuring a positive experience.

Requirements

Valid state license or certification in massage therapy. Proficiency in medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. Previous experience in a spa or wellness center is preferred but not required.
