Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional massage therapy services to clients, helping them achieve relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, excellent customer service skills, and effective communication abilities to ensure a positive experience for all clients.

Responsibilities

Perform various types of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including deep tissue, and therapeutic massages. Assess client conditions by reviewing medical histories and conducting thorough consultations. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and properly stored. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary. Document client progress and treatment plans accurately in compliance with clinic policies. Collaborate with other health professionals to provide comprehensive care to clients. Uphold confidentiality and maintain professional boundaries at all times.

Qualifications

Valid state license or certification in massage therapy is required. Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology. Proven customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for clients. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed. Previous experience in a spa or wellness center setting is preferred but not mandatory. Pay: $28.41-$79.11 per hour
