We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping clients achieve relaxation and relief from stress through therapeutic massage techniques. As a Massage Therapist, you will provide personalized treatments tailored to meet the individual needs of each client, ensuring a comfortable and soothing experience.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough consultations with clients to assess their needs and preferences. Perform various types of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and prenatal massage. Maintain a clean and organized treatment room, ensuring all equipment and supplies are sanitized. Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and suggest self-care practices. Stay updated on industry trends and continue professional development through workshops or courses.

Requirements

Valid state license or certification in massage therapy. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients. Ability to maintain professionalism while providing a relaxing environment. Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed. Previous experience in a spa or wellness center is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week
