Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional therapeutic massage services to clients, ensuring a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients about their needs and preferences.

Duties

Perform various types of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage. Assess client conditions by reviewing medical history and conducting thorough consultations. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary. Document client progress and treatment plans accurately in accordance with clinic policies. Collaborate with other health professionals to provide comprehensive care for clients. Uphold high standards of professionalism and confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications

Valid state licensure or certification in massage therapy. Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members clearly and professionally. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed. Previous experience in a spa or clinical setting is preferred but not required.
