Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping clients achieve relaxation and relief from pain through therapeutic massage techniques. This role requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to communicate effectively with clients, and a solid understanding of medical terminology to ensure a safe and effective treatment experience.

Duties

Provide professional massage therapy services tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and other modalities. Conduct thorough client assessments to understand their health history and specific concerns. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area in accordance with health and safety regulations. Communicate with clients about their preferences, comfort levels, and any areas of concern during sessions. Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress to ensure continuity of care. Stay updated on industry trends and techniques through ongoing education and training. Collaborate with other wellness professionals to enhance the overall client experience.

Requirements

Valid state licensure or certification in massage therapy. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to massage therapy practices. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. Commitment to maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $50.00-$100.00 per hour
