Overview

We are seeking a Registered Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide relaxing and therapeutic massage services to clients, promoting overall well-being and stress relief. This role offers an opportunity to work in a multi-disciplinary clinic with other massage therapists, physiotherapists, chiropractors and acupuncturists. Candidates should have a strong understanding of medical terminology related to health and wellness, along with a dedication to client care and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, or other modalities. Assess clients' health history and discuss their goals to develop personalized treatment plans. Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients before, during, and after sessions. Educate clients on post-treatment care and wellness practices to enhance their overall health. Document client progress and treatment details accurately in accordance with privacy standards. Uphold professional standards of conduct, confidentiality, and hygiene at all times. Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and certifications through ongoing education.

Experience

Previous experience as a Massage Therapist is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates. New Grads are welcome to apply. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients. Ability to build rapport with clients to foster trust and repeat business.
