Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional therapeutic services to our clients, helping them achieve relaxation and relief from tension. This role requires a strong understanding of various massage techniques, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding their needs and preferences.

Duties

Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage. Assess client needs and tailor each session to address specific areas of tension or discomfort. Maintain a clean and organized treatment room, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly sanitized. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary. Keep accurate records of client sessions, including treatment plans and progress notes. Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their comfort during sessions and address any concerns they may have. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy practices.

Requirements

Valid state license or certification in massage therapy. Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for clients. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients and team members. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed. A commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of massage therapy.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $55.00-$65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 12 per week
