We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team here at MYO Newmarket! The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various massage techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to create a welcoming environment for clients. As a RMT, you will play a vital role in promoting overall health and well-being through therapeutic touch.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality massage therapy services tailored to individual client needs. Maintain thorough knowledge of medical terminology to communicate effectively with clients and other healthcare professionals. Assess client conditions through consultation and observation, ensuring appropriate treatment plans. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients before, during, and after sessions. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments or self-care practices. Document client progress and treatment plans accurately in compliance with company policies. Uphold professionalism by adhering to ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality.

Requirements

Valid license or certification with the CMTO. Proficiency in various massage techniques (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, sports). Strong understanding of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $85,000.00-$92,500.00 per year

Expected hours: 12 - 22 per week
