We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional therapeutic massage services to clients, helping them achieve relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role requires a deep understanding of various massage techniques and a commitment to delivering personalized care tailored to each client's needs.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough consultations with clients to assess their individual needs and preferences. Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and therapeutic massages. Maintain a clean and organized treatment room, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use. Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress while respecting confidentiality. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide recommendations for follow-up treatments. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques. Collaborate with other wellness professionals to enhance client care and experience.

Qualifications

Valid state license or certification in massage therapy. Proficiency in various massage techniques; additional certifications are a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently. A commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Previous experience in a spa or wellness center is preferred but not required. A passion for holistic health and wellness practices.

Pay: From $60.00 per hour
