Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing health care to a variety of populations and conditions, and have experience with treating clients who have experienced trauma or a willingness to learn trauma-informed care.

What We're Looking For:

A Registered Massage Therapist, registered with the College of Complimentary Health Professionals of BC (CCHPBC). Someone who has experience or training in working with clients who have experienced adverse life experiences, or a willingness to acquire training (tuition assistance may be provided for the right candidate). Strong evidence-based therapeutic skills, as well as a thorough grounding in Swedish massage techniques. Liability insurance and ability to work as an independent contractor A commitment to ethical, inclusive, and client-centered care The ability to communicate effectively with practitioners in other disciplines (registered clinical counsellors), as well as clients English language proficiency skills, both verbal and written Experience with Jane Software is an asset Preference will be given to those with the ability to work at least one weekend day or evening.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify their physical health needs. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and client goals. Provide massage therapy services to individuals of varying ages, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques. Collaborate with other health practitioners where necessary to ensure holistic care. Maintain accurate case management records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Engage in continuing education activities to stay updated on best practices in physical health care. Collect data on client progress and outcomes to inform treatment adjustments.

Pay: $81.00-$88.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 25 per week
