As a Massage Therapist, you will utilize your knowledge of various massage techniques and medical terminology to deliver personalized treatments that address individual needs.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical conditions and discuss their needs and preferences. Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and therapeutic massages. Maintain accurate records of client sessions, including treatment plans and progress notes. Communicate effectively with clients to ensure comfort and satisfaction throughout the session. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments or self-care practices. Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards in the treatment area, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. Collaborate with other wellness professionals to provide comprehensive care for clients.

Requirements

Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to massage therapy and anatomy. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. Proven customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. Ability to adapt techniques based on individual client needs and feedback. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $50.85-$90.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
