We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. As a Massage Therapist, you will create a welcoming environment for clients, assess their needs, and provide personalized treatment plans to enhance their overall well-being.

Duties

Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their specific needs and preferences. Perform various types of massages, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and prenatal techniques. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area in compliance with health and safety regulations. Utilize appropriate techniques to address client concerns such as muscle tension, stress relief, and injury recovery. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide aftercare advice for optimal results. Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy practices.

Skills

Strong knowledge of various massage techniques and modalities. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs. Ability to create a calming atmosphere conducive to relaxation. Good physical stamina to perform massages for extended periods. Strong attention to detail in client assessments and treatment plans. Certification from an accredited massage therapy program is required. Previous experience in a spa or wellness center is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
