We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team of Chiropractors and Massage Therapists. Take over the position from an established RMT who is moving!
The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping clients reduce pain, heal from injuries, and return to the activities they love. This role requires an ability to communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, a caring personality, and admirable clinical massage skills.
This is a contract position with a competitive percent split. Receive 100% tips. The clinic provides a billing and scheduling system, patient referrals, online booking, laundry facilities, linens, and more!
Responsibilities
Provide massage therapy services tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and other modalities (training in cupping, bamboo, hot stone, Rapid, or myofascial release would be an asset but not required).
Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical conditions and discuss treatment plans.
Maintain accurate records of client sessions, including treatment notes and progress updates.
Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients before and after treatments.
Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend self-care practices.
Collaborate with other wellness professionals to enhance client care and satisfaction.
Uphold professional standards of hygiene and ethics in all interactions.
Qualifications
Valid Alberta licensure or certification in massage therapy is required (2200 hrs).
Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction and comfort.
Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and understand their needs.
