Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques and therapies, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, to provide effective pain management and enhance the overall well-being of our clients. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, delivering exceptional service, and creating a relaxing environment that promotes healing.

Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and tailor massage treatments accordingly. Perform various types of massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, to alleviate pain and promote relaxation. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to ensure safe and effective treatment plans. Maintain accurate records of patient treatments, progress, and any relevant medical terminology. Provide excellent customer service by ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for clients before, during, and after their sessions. Collaborate with other health professionals to support occupational health initiatives when necessary. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy practices to continuously improve skills.

Experience

Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with a strong focus on patient service and assessment. Familiarity with pain management techniques and the ability to apply them effectively in treatment plans. Knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology is essential. Previous experience in a med spa setting is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Pay: $48,900.81-$116,107.99 per year
