We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Massage Therapist to take over a maternity leave for 1 year. You will be working in a beautiful multidisciplinary clinic in downtown Kamloops. You can expect to have full schedule from day 1. The room rental is flat rate that includes all services such a secretary, offices supplies, and massage supplies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques and a passion for promoting relaxation and healing. This role requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service to ensure clients receive the highest quality care.
Duties
Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to meet individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and therapeutic massages.
Assess client conditions by reviewing medical histories and conducting thorough consultations before treatment.
Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and in good working condition.
Provide clients with guidance on post-treatment care and wellness practices to enhance their overall experience.
Document treatment plans and progress notes accurately in client records.
Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices to continually improve service delivery.
Skills
Proficient in medical terminology to effectively communicate with clients regarding their health conditions.
Strong customer service skills to create a welcoming environment and foster positive client relationships.
Excellent communication abilities to clearly explain treatments, address client concerns, and provide recommendations for ongoing care.
Excellent assessment and treatment skills for a variety of conditions
