Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. In this role, you will provide therapeutic massage services to clients, helping them to relieve stress, alleviate pain, and promote overall well-being. You will be responsible for creating a relaxing environment and delivering high-quality treatments tailored to individual client needs.

Duties

Perform various types of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage. Assess clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans based on their specific conditions and preferences. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns and provide guidance on post-treatment care. Keep accurate records of client sessions, including treatment details and any relevant medical history. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques. Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience for all clients.

Qualifications

Valid state license or certification in massage therapy. Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred to enhance communication with clients regarding their health conditions. Strong customer service skills to foster positive relationships with clients and ensure satisfaction. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey treatment plans and recommendations. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed to accommodate client schedules. Previous experience in a spa or wellness center is a plus but not required. Pay: $32.51-$98.66 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 15 per week
