Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques and be dedicated to providing exceptional care to clients. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to create a relaxing environment for clients while addressing their individual needs.

Duties

Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and therapeutic massages tailored to client preferences and needs. Assess client conditions and discuss medical history to determine appropriate treatment plans. Maintain accurate records of client sessions, including treatment notes and progress reports. Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and addressing client inquiries or concerns promptly. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and self-care practices to enhance their overall well-being. Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols in accordance with industry standards. Continuously update knowledge of medical terminology and advancements in massage therapy techniques.

Qualifications

Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist. Proficient understanding of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Previous experience in a spa or clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to create a calming environment that fosters relaxation for clients. Commitment to ongoing professional development and education in massage therapy practices.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $32.63-$95.09 per hour
