Duties

Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and therapeutic massages, to meet client needs. Assess client conditions by reviewing medical history and conducting thorough consultations. Maintain accurate records of treatments and client progress. Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment and addressing client concerns. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary. Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards in the treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy practices.

Requirements

Valid massage therapy license as required by state regulations. Proficiency in medical terminology to effectively communicate with clients and healthcare professionals. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to provide clear instructions and feedback. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed to accommodate client schedules. Previous experience in a spa or wellness center is preferred but not mandatory. Pay: $50.00-$100.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 25 per week
