Duties

Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs. Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical conditions and discuss their massage preferences and goals. Maintain accurate records of client treatments and progress while adhering to confidentiality protocols. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments or self-care practices. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients before, during, and after treatments. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques.

Skills

Proficient in medical terminology to effectively communicate with clients and healthcare professionals. Strong customer service skills to create a positive experience for clients and address their needs effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to ensure clear understanding between therapist and client regarding treatment plans. Ability to work collaboratively with other health professionals to provide comprehensive care for clients. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to massage therapy practices.
