Weekend Registered Massage Therapist

Purpose of this position:

As a Registered Massage Therapist, you will be integral in promoting client wellness through therapeutic massage techniques. Reporting to the manager, your role involves assessing guest needs and providing tailored treatments to enhance physical and emotional well-being. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential for building rapport and ensuring a positive experience for spa guests.

Job Summary:

Part-time, permanent position Wage: $50.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

Collect clients from guest waiting room, validate guest details/preferences, and provide information about their treatment. Provide therapeutic massage treatments to clients, assessing their needs and preferences. Utilize medical terminology to document client conditions and treatment plans accurately. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring all equipment is sanitized. Deliver exceptional customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing their concerns. Demonstrate consistent professional conduct, including monitoring for appropriate language and topics of discussion during treatments. Communicate effectively with clients to explain procedures and aftercare instructions.

Qualifications:

Valid Registered Massage Therapist certification Strong understanding of medical terminology Excellent customer service skills Effective communication abilities, both verbal and written Ability to create a comfortable and safe environment for clients Knowledge of various massage techniques and their applications
