We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional therapeutic services that promote relaxation, healing, and overall well-being. This role requires a deep understanding of various massage techniques and the ability to tailor each session to meet the individual needs of clients.

Duties

Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage, based on client preferences and needs. Assess clients' physical conditions and discuss their health history to determine appropriate treatment plans. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and in good working order. Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment for clients and addressing any concerns or questions they may have. Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress, ensuring confidentiality at all times. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques through ongoing education and training.

Skills

Proficient in medical terminology to effectively communicate with clients regarding their health conditions. Strong customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for every client. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to build rapport with clients and understand their needs effectively. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology as it relates to massage therapy practices. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $45.00-$60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 16 per week
