Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques and be dedicated to providing exceptional care to clients. This role requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to enhancing the overall well-being of our clients through therapeutic massage.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough client assessments to determine individual needs and preferences. Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage, tailored to each client's requirements. Maintain accurate records of treatments and client progress while adhering to confidentiality standards. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments or self-care practices. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients before and after treatments. Collaborate with other wellness professionals to provide comprehensive care for clients. Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices in massage therapy.

Experience

Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with a strong understanding of medical terminology related to the field. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients effectively. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to ensure clear understanding between therapist and client. Certification from an accredited massage therapy program is required; state licensure is preferred. Prior experience in a clinical or spa setting is advantageous but not mandatory. Pay: $80.00-$100.00 per hour
