We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional therapeutic services to clients, ensuring a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. As a Massage Therapist, you will utilize your knowledge of various massage techniques and medical terminology to address client needs and promote overall well-being.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage. Assess clients' physical conditions and discuss their health history to determine appropriate treatment plans. Maintain accurate records of client sessions, including treatment notes and progress updates. Communicate effectively with clients regarding their preferences, concerns, and any contraindications for massage therapy. Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards in the treatment area, ensuring a safe environment for clients. Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and addressing client inquiries or feedback promptly. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques through ongoing education and training.

Requirements

Valid state license or certification in massage therapy. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed. A commitment to maintaining a professional demeanor and confidentiality at all times. Previous experience in a spa or wellness center is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $41.22-$100.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
