Duties

Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure effective and safe therapy sessions. Educate clients on pain management strategies and occupational health practices to enhance their overall wellness. Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient progress, and any relevant health information. Ensure a clean, sanitized treatment environment adhering to health and safety standards. Provide exceptional patient service by creating a relaxing atmosphere and addressing client questions or concerns professionally. Stay current with industry best practices and participate in ongoing professional development activities.

Requirements

Valid massage therapy license or certification as required by state regulations. Proven experience in patient service, with a focus on customer satisfaction. Proficiency in advanced massage techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and pain management principles. Experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is preferred. Excellent communication skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately. Knowledge of occupational health practices to promote client safety and well-being. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
