Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic massage services to clients, promoting relaxation and overall well-being. This role requires a deep understanding of various massage techniques, as well as an ability to communicate effectively with clients about their needs and preferences.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage. Assess clients' physical conditions by reviewing medical histories and conducting thorough consultations. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and in good working condition. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments or self-care practices. Document client sessions accurately, including treatment plans and any changes in client conditions. Provide exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming environment and addressing any client concerns promptly.

Skills

Proficiency in medical terminology to effectively communicate with clients and healthcare professionals. Strong customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for all clients. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to clearly convey treatment plans and address client inquiries. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism at all times. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to massage therapy practices is preferred. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $50.00-$70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 25 per week
