Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service and a deep understanding of various massage techniques. This role requires effective communication skills to assess client needs and create personalized treatment plans that promote relaxation and healing.

Duties

Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and therapeutic massages. Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical conditions and discuss their health history to develop appropriate treatment plans. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly sanitized. Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere for clients and addressing any concerns or questions they may have. Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices in massage therapy. Document client sessions accurately, including treatment details and any recommendations for follow-up care. Collaborate with other wellness professionals to enhance the overall client experience.

Requirements

Valid state license or certification in massage therapy. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology is preferred. Ability to create customized treatment plans based on individual client needs. Excellent interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour
