Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping clients achieve relaxation and relief from tension through therapeutic massage techniques. As a Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality massage services tailored to the individual needs of clients, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct client assessments to understand their specific needs and preferences. Perform various types of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and therapeutic massages. Maintain accurate records of client treatments and progress. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and self-care practices. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the treatment area and equipment. Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their comfort during sessions. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques.

Experience

Proven experience as a Massage Therapist is preferred; however, recent graduates with relevant training are encouraged to apply. Knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial for understanding client needs and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. Strong customer service skills to create a positive experience for clients. Excellent communication skills to effectively convey treatment plans and address client concerns.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 40 per week
