Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. Our current RMT is taking off time and we need someone to help cover her practice. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping clients achieve relaxation and therapeutic benefits through massage therapy. This role requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to communicate effectively with clients, and a solid understanding of medical terminology. As a Massage Therapist, you will provide personalized massage treatments tailored to meet individual client needs.

Duties

Perform various types of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage. Assess client needs and develop customized treatment plans based on their preferences and health conditions. Maintain accurate records of client treatments and progress. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients before, during, and after treatments. Communicate effectively with clients regarding their treatment options and address any concerns they may have. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain confidentiality of client information.

Requirements

Valid state licensure or certification in massage therapy. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology. Excellent communication skills to effectively explain treatment plans and address client inquiries. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed. Commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of massage therapy.

Pay: $63,927.35-$141,324.07 per year
