Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.

This is an opportunity to work with a team of highly experienced physiotherapists and occupational therapists in a newly formed and fast growing multidisciplinary rehabilitation clinic in Dartmouth.

The ideal candidate will provide clinical massage therapy services that promote injury recovery, relaxation, reduce stress, and improve overall well-being for our clients. This role offers an opportunity to work in a team environment dedicated to health and healing, utilizing your expertise to enhance client satisfaction and health outcomes.

Responsibilities

Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities Assess clients' physical condition and discuss their wellness goals to determine appropriate treatment plans Maintain a clean, safe, and relaxing environment for clients before, during, and after treatments Document client progress and treatment details accurately in accordance with practice standards Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend additional therapies or wellness practices as needed Uphold strict confidentiality of client information and adhere to all health and safety regulations Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education requirements to maintain licensure and certification

Qualifications

Valid massage therapy license or certification as required by MTANS Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients Strong communication skills to explain treatment procedures and address client concerns clearly Ability to create a welcoming atmosphere that promotes relaxation and trust
We are open to full time, part time options as well as employee and contractor arrangements. Our primary focus in finding the right person to join our growing team.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $50.00-$55.00 per hour
