We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care through tailored massage therapy treatments, contributing to pain relief, relaxation, and overall well-being. Duties
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine individual treatment plans.
Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address specific pain points and promote healing.
Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure safe and effective treatments.
Educate patients on post-treatment care and recommend exercises or therapies for ongoing health improvement.
Maintain detailed documentation of patient treatments and progress.
Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all clients.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop integrated treatment plans when necessary.
Uphold the highest standards of patient service and confidentiality at all times.
Requirements
Valid license as a Registered Massage Therapist in accordance with state regulations.
Proven experience in patient service, with strong skills in patient assessment and pain management.
Proficiency in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other advanced massage techniques.
Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and occupational health principles.
Prior experience working in a medical spa or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
Excellent customer service skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Strong communication skills to effectively educate and inform patients about treatment options.
