Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional therapeutic services to clients, helping them achieve relaxation and relief from physical discomfort. This role requires a strong understanding of various massage techniques and the ability to communicate effectively with clients to tailor treatments to their individual needs.

Duties

Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage, based on client preferences and needs. Assess clients' physical conditions and discuss their goals for treatment. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use. Keep accurate records of client sessions, including treatment plans and progress notes. Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment and addressing client concerns or questions. Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices in massage therapy. Collaborate with other wellness professionals to enhance the overall client experience.

Requirements

Valid state licensure or certification in massage therapy. Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with massage therapy, including standing for extended periods and lifting as necessary. A commitment to continuing education and professional development in the field of massage therapy.

Pay: $58,656.19-$153,300.24 per year

Expected hours: 8 - 30 per week
