Activecare Physiotherapy & Rehab are seeking skilled and compassionate Massage Therapists to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques and be dedicated to providing exceptional customer service. As a Massage Therapist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall well-being of our clients by delivering tailored massage treatments that address their individual needs.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, and therapeutic massages to meet client needs. Assess clients' physical conditions and discuss their goals to develop personalized treatment plans. Maintain accurate records of client treatments and progress while adhering to confidentiality guidelines. Communicate effectively with clients to ensure comfort and satisfaction during sessions. Provide education on self-care practices and recommend follow-up treatments as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and in good working order. Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices to enhance service offerings.

Experience

Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with a valid state license or certification. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred but not required. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. A commitment to ongoing professional development and training in new massage techniques is highly valued.
