We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. Duties

Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to meet the individual needs of clients, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage. Maintain accurate client records, including treatment plans and progress notes, while adhering to confidentiality standards. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific needs and preferences, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing experience. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments or self-care practices as needed. Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards in the treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and properly maintained. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques to enhance service offerings.

Requirements

Valid state license or certification in massage therapy is required. Proficiency in medical terminology to effectively communicate with clients and healthcare professionals. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on creating a welcoming environment for clients. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate clear interactions with clients and team members. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed to accommodate client schedules. Previous experience in a spa or wellness center is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome new graduates with a passion for healing.
