We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team at our brand new fitness facility, LFG Labs. In this role, you will provide high-quality therapeutic massage services to clients, helping them relax, relieve stress, and alleviate pain. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques and be committed to delivering exceptional customer service in a professional environment full of professional athletes and casual fitness go-ers.
Responsibilities
Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage.
Conduct thorough client assessments to determine the most appropriate treatment plans.
Maintain accurate records of client treatments and progress. (done through our online booking program)
Ensure a clean and welcoming environment for clients before and after treatments.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding their needs, preferences, and any concerns related to their treatment.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy practices.
Adhere to all safety and hygiene protocols to ensure the well-being of clients.
Skills
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology is essential for providing informed care.
Excellent customer service skills to create a positive experience for clients and encourage repeat visits.
Ability to work collaboratively with other wellness professionals in a team-oriented environment.
Physical stamina and dexterity to perform massages for extended periods while maintaining proper body mechanics.
