Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping clients achieve relaxation and relief from stress through therapeutic massage techniques. This position requires a strong understanding of various massage modalities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to meet individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage. Conduct thorough client assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on medical history and specific concerns. Maintain accurate records of client treatments and progress, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with health regulations. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide recommendations for self-care practices. Create a welcoming and calming environment for clients, ensuring cleanliness and organization of the treatment area. Collaborate with other wellness professionals to enhance the overall client experience.

Skills

Strong ability to communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences. Knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy, physiology, and common conditions affecting clients. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building rapport and trust with clients. Proficiency in various massage techniques and an eagerness to learn new modalities as needed. Ability to maintain professionalism in all interactions while providing a relaxing atmosphere for clients.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $50.00-$80.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 55 per week
