Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of medical terminology, and a dedication to delivering exceptional customer service in a welcoming environment.

Duties

Perform therapeutic massage sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and other modalities Assess client conditions and discuss treatment goals to ensure personalized care Maintain accurate records of treatments provided and client progress Educate clients on self-care techniques and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments Uphold sanitation standards by cleaning and disinfecting massage tables and equipment between sessions Provide excellent customer service by creating a relaxing atmosphere and addressing client inquiries professionally Stay informed about the latest massage techniques and industry best practices through ongoing education

Experience

Previous experience as a Massage Therapist or in a related wellness field preferred Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and client health conditions Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality customer service in a professional setting Certification or licensing as required by state regulations for massage therapy is essential
