Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping clients achieve relaxation and relief from stress through therapeutic massage techniques. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and an ability to communicate effectively with clients to ensure their needs are met.

Duties

Provide professional massage therapy services tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and other specialized techniques. Conduct thorough consultations with clients to assess their physical condition and discuss their goals for treatment. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients before, during, and after treatments. Document client progress and treatment plans accurately in accordance with clinic policies. Stay informed about the latest massage techniques and industry trends to enhance service offerings. Collaborate with other wellness professionals to create comprehensive care plans for clients.

Skills

Proficient in medical terminology to effectively communicate with clients regarding their health conditions. Strong customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for every client. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to build rapport with clients and understand their needs. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology as it relates to massage therapy practices. Pay: $67.25-$96.58 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
