We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. As a Massage Therapist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the overall well-being of our clients by delivering tailored massage therapies that address their individual needs.

Duties

Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and therapeutic massages, tailored to meet client needs. Assess clients' physical conditions and discuss their goals to create personalized treatment plans. Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including treatment history and progress notes. Communicate effectively with clients to ensure comfort and satisfaction throughout the session. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend self-care practices. Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards in the treatment area and equipment. Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy.

Qualifications

Valid state licensure or certification in massage therapy is required. Strong knowledge of medical terminology is preferred to enhance communication with clients regarding their health conditions. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Strong communication skills to effectively discuss treatment options and address client concerns. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. Previous experience in a spa or wellness environment is a plus but not mandatory.

Pay: $38.15-$97.13 per hour
