Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping clients achieve relaxation and relief from muscle tension through therapeutic massage techniques. This role requires excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of medical terminology to effectively assess client needs and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical conditions and discuss their specific needs and preferences. Perform various types of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use. Document client sessions accurately, including treatment plans and progress notes. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary. Collaborate with other wellness professionals to provide comprehensive care to clients. Uphold professional standards of conduct and maintain confidentiality regarding client information.

Requirements

Valid state licensure or certification in massage therapy. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs. Knowledge of medical terminology to accurately document client information and communicate with healthcare providers. Excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for all clients. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed.
