Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and preferences for massage therapy. Provide a range of massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, tailored to address specific pain management issues. Utilize knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to enhance treatment effectiveness. Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress while ensuring confidentiality. Deliver outstanding customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere for clients and addressing any concerns they may have. Stay updated on the latest trends in massage therapy and occupational health to provide the best care possible. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the facility to ensure comprehensive patient care. Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards in the treatment area.

Experience

Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with a strong background in patient service and assessment. Familiarity with deep tissue massage techniques, trigger point therapy, and pain management strategies. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and occupational health practices is essential. Previous experience in a med spa environment is highly desirable but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on customer service to foster positive relationships with clients.
