Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join our team at Body Beautiful Day Spa. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional massage therapy services, ensuring each client receives personalized care and a top-tier experience. As an RMT, you will perform client assessments, deliver high-quality treatments, and maintain impeccable housekeeping standards. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to the standards set by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO).

Key Responsibilities:

Client Assessments:

Perform thorough client assessments and review medical history prior to each treatment to ensure a safe and effective session.

Massage Therapy Services:

Deliver professional massage therapy services, tailored to meet each client's needs, while ensuring a relaxing and therapeutic experience.

Client Files:

Maintain up-to-date and confidential client files, ensuring all paperwork, including health history forms, is completed before the start of each service.

Client Consultation:

Engage with clients to understand their needs and make appropriate recommendations for treatments and services, ensuring the best possible experience.

Service Handover:

If another service provider will treat the client after you, ensure important information from the client's file is communicated effectively.

Housekeeping Standards:

Adhere to Body Beautiful's high housekeeping standards, cleaning service areas between sessions and ensuring the room is left in immaculate condition at the end of each shift. This includes disposing of dirty linens, glasses, paperwork, and products, and ensuring beds, tables, sinks, and counters are cleaned and ready for the next service provider.

Booking Management:

Proactively assist clients with future bookings, ensuring their continued satisfaction and repeat visits.

Client Satisfaction:

Ensure client satisfaction at the end of each service, personally escorting them to reception or the relaxation room for their next treatment.

Reporting:

Notify spa management of any equipment malfunctions, product shortages, or client concerns.

Team Collaboration:

Attend staff meetings and training sessions, contribute to team morale, and offer suggestions to improve spa operations and client experiences.

Regulatory Compliance:

Abide by the rules and regulations set out by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO), ensuring all professional standards are met.

Qualifications:

Current registration and good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO). Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace. Commitment to client confidentiality and high ethical standards. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.

Pay: $50.00-$75.00 per hour
