Responsibilities

Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage, tailored to meet the individual needs of clients. Assess client needs and medical history to develop appropriate treatment plans. Maintain accurate records of client sessions, including treatment details and progress notes. Communicate effectively with clients to ensure comfort and satisfaction during treatments. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide recommendations for self-care practices. Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards in the treatment area, ensuring a safe environment for clients. Provide excellent customer service by fostering a welcoming atmosphere and addressing client inquiries or concerns.

Qualifications

Valid state license or certification in massage therapy. Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs. Proven customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. A passion for holistic health and wellness, with a commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of massage therapy.
