Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional therapeutic massage services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role requires a deep understanding of various massage techniques and the ability to tailor sessions to meet individual client needs.

Duties

Conduct thorough client assessments to understand their specific needs and preferences. Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and prenatal massages. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly sanitized. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend self-care practices for continued wellness. Document client progress and any changes in their condition after each session. Collaborate with other health professionals when necessary to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain confidentiality of client information.

Requirements

Must be registered with college of massage therapy Ontario. . Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs. Ability to create a calming environment that fosters relaxation for clients. Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality service. Previous experience in a spa or wellness setting is preferred but not mandatory. Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for evenings and weekends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $51,150.34-$119,679.64 per year
