RMT Wanted for Sumas Mountain Wellness

Are you a compassionate and skilled Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) looking for a supportive and collaborative environment to grow your practice? We're excited to announce that Sumas Mountain Wellness in Abbotsford, BC is seeking an RMT to join our team of professionals! Our brand-new space offers a serene and peaceful atmosphere, surrounded by nature's beauty.

Duties

Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and therapeutic massages. Conduct thorough client assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on medical history and personal preferences. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments or self-care practices. Keep accurate records of client sessions, including treatment notes and any changes in client conditions. Collaborate with other wellness professionals to provide comprehensive care that addresses the overall health of clients.

Experience

Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with a strong understanding of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey treatment plans and recommendations. Certification from an accredited massage therapy program is required, along with any necessary state licensure.
