Duties
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards.
Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children.
Educate children through play-based learning activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and development.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and share best practices.
Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the varying needs of children, including those with disabilities.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessments.
Experience
A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience in a childcare or educational setting is highly desirable.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a busy classroom environment.
Proficiency in computer operation for administrative tasks and educational purposes.
Familiarity with bilingual education, particularly in English and French, is a plus.
