Momentum Montessori is now recruiting for an eager and enthusiastic Registered Early Childhood Educator looking for full-time work!

About Momentum Montessori:

Momentum Montessori is a childcare center located in the downtown area. We use a hybrid approach to learning, including the Montessori, Play-Based, and Reggio Emilia philosophies. We offer childcare to toddler, preschool, and kindergarten age groups.

Type of role:

Full-Time Registered Early Childhood Educator

Responsibilities:

Implement a high-quality program in line with our child-led, play-based curriculum, under the direction of the Director, to support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. Facilitate daily indoor and outdoor activities to enhance language, gross and fine motor skills, independence, and problem-solving. Support a child-led, play-based learning environment. Ensure the overall health and safety of the children enrolled in the program. Be flexible and adaptable to changes in the work environment. Be dependable and flexible to work the hours/shifts of the center. Maintain the cleanliness of the childcare space and assist in the organization of classroom learning materials. Ensure all current ministry rules and regulations are followed at all times.

Qualifications:

CPR and First Aid certification. Willingness to undergo a Criminal Record Check and Medical Check. ECE Certification or Bachelor's of Education from a recognized post-secondary institution. A positive and fun-loving attitude with the ability to work under pressure. Enthusiastic and passionate about teaching and working with children.

Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
