Overview:

We are seeking two Early Childhood Educators to join our team. Both working within our summer camp program and moving into our before/after and childcare center teams. Both positions will be covering maternity leaves with additional months added on for the summer camp work - with the potential of extension. The ideal candidates will have an easy going, fun loving nature, genuine interest in nurturing young minds, be flexible and dependable.

Responsibilities:

- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Provide individualized attention to each child
- Maintain classroom expectations working within ratios with teaching partners
- Monitor and assess student progress
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children's development

Requirements:

- Registered Early Childhood Educator in good standing with the college or related field
- Strong leadership and time management skills
- Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing
- Clear CPIC with Vulnerable Sectors check
- Valid Standard First Aid & CPR Level C w AED
- Ministry required immunizations or notarized statement of conscience or religious belief

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 15 months

Pay: $23.00-$24.68 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 37.5 per week
