Join our friendly and established dental practice in our Dental Center (Dr. Ray Ghiassi) for a temporary maternity leave position!

Are you a RDH seeking a rewarding temporary opportunity? We are looking for a skilled and compassionate hygienist to join our team and provide excellent patient care while our valued team member is on maternity leave.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Assist in the diagnosis and education of periodontal disease and other oral health issues, i.e. oral cancer screenings Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow in the office. Uphold strict infection control protocols to ensure patient safety. Engage with pediatric patients effectively, making their experience comfortable and positive.

Skills

Proficient in using Dentrix software for record keeping and scheduling. Strong customer service skills to foster positive relationships with patients. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dentistry is essential. Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable. Ability to thrive in a busy dental office environment while maintaining attention to detail. Bilingual skills are an advantage, enhancing communication with diverse patient populations.

Pay: $60.00 per hour
